
Bali, December 15, 2024 – The "Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Journey" at Three Mountains, Serangan Island, Bali, provided the backdrop for a significant event: the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) and the United In Diversity Foundation. This collaboration, spearheaded by the Tri Hita Karana Centre for Future Knowledge (THK CFK), aims to bolster Indonesia's higher education and research landscape, fostering technological advancement and sustainable development.
Initiated on December 13, 2024, a gathering of university rectors preceded the MoU signing. Knowledge Innovation Technology Alliance (KITA) entered agreements with 18 prominent institutions, including Padjadjaran University, University of Indonesia, Diponegoro University, Institut Teknologi Del, Sebelas Maret University, Muhammadiyah University of Malang, and Bali International Polytechnic. These agreements emphasize shared commitments to driving innovation, enhancing capacities, and facilitating technology transfer across education, research, and sustainable economic development.
The December 15th MoU signing solidified a holistic framework. It outlines a collaborative approach that leverages technological advancements, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), to propel economic transformation while upholding the Tri Hita Karana philosophy: a harmonious balance between humans, nature, and spirituality.
